decent phone, but fair condition really means it
Don't go in expecting mint. The Razr works great, folds properly, screen is bright. But there are visible scratches on the sides and back like the listing said. If you're OK with cosmetic wear and just want the device to function, it's fine. I am, so I'm keeping it. Just don't expect it to look new.
folds like it should, looks almost new
Got lucky with this one I think. The 256GB in good condition showed up and honestly it looks almost new under normal light. Maybe a tiny hint of wear on the edges if you're really looking, but the screen is pristine. Battery health is solid at 88%. The folding mechanism is the real story here—feels refined, no grinding, no hesitation. Way cheaper than buying new and I don't see why I'd have done that instead.
folding phone that actually works
Bought this used Razr 40 expecting some issues given the fair condition rating, but honestly it's been solid. Screen folds smoothly, battery holds up through a full day, and the 32-point inspection must've caught everything because I can't find any dead pixels or strange behavior. The marks on the back don't bother me—that's what fair condition means. For the price difference versus buying new, this was worth it.
Surprised how nice it is for the price
Got this in excellent condition and the inspection report was spot-on. Screen's clean, no dead pixels, battery's at 92%. The fold mechanism feels solid. Was nervous about buying pre-owned but BestMobileCanada actually delivers on the warranty coverage. Good value versus buying new.
Battery worse than listed, disappointed
Recieved the phone and right away noticed the battery was at 76%, not the 85% minimum I expected from the listing. it still works but drains faster than I'd like by end of day. the phone itself looks okay for fair condition, but the battery issue is frustrating. warranty covers it supposedly but haven't pursued it yet.
solid purchase with one quirk
The 256GB in good condition arrived quickly and works as described. No major issues with the screen or performance. One thing — the charger wasn't in the box, which I should've checked the listing for more carefully. Otherwise happy with the phone and the inspection report matched what I got.
Happy with it, minor shipping delay
pretty solid phone overall. the screen's in good shape and performance is solid. took 3 days to arrive instead of the 24h window, which was annoying but not a dealbreaker. the 256GB storage is nice and the battery percentage (88%) is respectable. would've preferred faster delivery but the phone itself is good.
great value for a folding phone
Got the 256GB version in fair condition and it's been great. Yes there's visible wear on the casing if you look for it, but the screen is flawless and that's what matters. The hinge feels solid, battery is at 87%, and I saved enough money versus new that I'm not stressed about the cosmetic stuff. The inspection checklist they mention actually means something—nothing surprising popped up after purchase.
